Description

The adventure began in 1999, with the creation of D.O.C. ATINA.  Joseph Pinto, an entrepreneur, and Angelo Cosenza, a surgeon and University lecturer, purchased the first plot of land in Alvito, in the heart of the Ciociaria, to produce wine.

They share a common passion for the land and the certainty that the return to agriculture represents the essence of life.

Viticulture in the area goes back a long time : in fact, since the late 1800 's the agronomist and Minister of agriculture at the time, Pasquale Visocchi, imported three varieties of Bordeaux from France: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

The governance of the company is entrusted to Armando Pinto, for all the elements relating to agriculture and winemaking, and Maria Pinto Cosenza, responsible for marketing and public relations.
