Description

The Gallo family is dedicated to viticulture and operates in Montabone, a small village on the renowned hills of the southern Asti region, where it continues to transform its grapes into prestigious wines since 1900.

Current owner Giovanni Gallo is helped by his sons Carlo and Guido, who are training to manage the company, and by his wife Fabia. Together, they work with passion and knowledge.

The vineyard area measures about 14 hectares, where several grape varieties are grown: Moscato, Brachetto, Barbera, Cortese, Dolcetto, Freisa, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, all grown with care and attention using both modern and traditional technologies.

In its historic cellar, dating back to 1831, it is possible to taste all of the wine production of the Azienda Agricola Gallo, which includes wines with DOCG and DOC certifications, a fine classic-method Spumante, and a rare Passito of Brachetto grapes.

Our company is located only a few kilometres away from the thermal town of Acqui Terme, which boasts a beautiful historic district and a high-level spa, and from the town of Canelli, a UNESCO world heritage site famous for its underground cathedrals.
